March in Motion 2011




Dear Parents,

March in Motion 2011 is on! The camp will run the week of March Break on Tuesday to Thursday March 15-17.
This year, we will have three different groups: Preschool ages 2-4, School-age ages 5-9 and Juniors ages 10-16.

This year's theme is on Prayer

The Preschoolers will learn to pray with Teacher Jean, the School-agers will learn how and when to pray to our Heavenly Father, the Juniors will be prayerfully working on a special film project with Teacher Eugene.

Sports and Bible Camp CHANGES!

Dear Parents,
We have smaller numbers registered this year and a very full summer ahead. As a result, we've decided to run our sports and Bible camp for three days only. It will be held from Tuesday to Thursday July 27, 28, and 29. Please note the changes also in Registration fee. Also, parents of student leaders, we have changed the format of the camp so that leadership training on Monday is no longer necessary for this camp.


Dates: Tuesday July 27 to Thursday July 29th.
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Ages: 2-12
Fee:

Yes - it is that wonderful time again! We will be hosting our annual Sports and Bible camp at church from Tuesday July 27th to Friday July 30th. Please note parents, that our camp will ALWAYS be on the last week of July for future planning purposes :) Please mark your calendars. Hope to see you all there!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt is On!!! - Easter Sunday April 2, 2010 right after service



Dear Parents,

Our annual Easter Egg hunt will take place on Sunday April 4th after our Easter Service. We have some made some changes this year to make the hunt more fun and challenging for our children.

Firstly, we will have four distinct designated areas for different groups of children:

1) PRESCHOOL GROUP - Children ages 1, 2, and 3 - that is, all the kids in the big house - will be hunting for eggs on the upper part of the church property in front of the big house and between the house and the main chapel.

2) JK/SK GROUP - Children in junior and senior kindergarten will be searching for eggs in the playground area on the lower land...a distinct boundary will be made clear. Students must stay within these boundaries

3) GRADES 1-3 GROUP - Children in grades 1-3 will be on the lower land (soccer field/picnic area) A distinct boundary will be marked off

4) JUNIOR HIGH GROUP - Students in grade 4 and older will be hunting for eggs behind the pond, on top of the hill and all the areas in between the other designated areas...

Parents,
We will need your help with the following:

1) Ensuring your child goes to the right designated area

2) Supervising your child for safety during the hunt

3) Dressing your child in the proper footwear to bear the elements that day...whatever the weather!

4) Returning the empty egg shells to the teacher with the "egg bag" in your designated area


Also, one child in each of the designated areas (except preschool) will have a chance at finding the special "PRIZE EGG" which contains a ticket indicating he/she has won the special prize. A teacher will be onsite with the special prize to award to the child who has found the special egg.

One more thing - we have over 1000 eggs full of goodies this year, so please go ahead and use this as an opportunity to invte friends, neighbours and family.

March in Motion is on the move!


Dear Parents,

Once again, during this year's March break, Pebbles Children's Ministry will be hosting March in Motion, our annual March Break Camp.

This year's theme is : The Beatitudes: God's way to Happiness

The details are as follows:

Monday March 15th: Leadership training 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (group leaders only)
Tues March 16th - Thurs 18th : March in Motion 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Two groups: Preschool - Ages 2-4 and School-age - Ages 5-12
Cost: RCC Members: 1 child - $60, 2 children - $100, 3 children - $125
Non-members: 1 child - $75, 2 children - $130, 3 children - $165

Hallelulah Children's Party - October 31st, 2009 - 2pm - 3pm

Join us on October 31st, 2009 between 2pm and 6pm for a Hallelujah extravaganza! We have the privilege this year of enjoying Halloween on a Saturday so please invite all your family and friends to join us for games, prizes and even a special puppet show that will be presenting the gospel message every hour throughout the day. Don't forget, there will be a costume contest for the best dressed individual and family, so start planning now! Announcing our new Youth Worship Service!

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving {And} His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name." Psalm 100:4

Praise the Lord! As of the first Sunday of September, our growing youth group now has a place of worship they can call their own. Thanks to many helpful hands, some sweat, and even some shedding of blood (thanks, Young!) we were able to transform our little chapel into a warm, cozy place where all our youth ages 10 to 18 can come and participate in a worship service, made just for them. Every Sunday, the PB&J Youth band leads the group in worship, followed by a message and discussion time led by our Sunday School teachers. If you haven't come and checked it out yet, come and by and spread the word to all the youth , that they have this place to enter his gates with thanksgiving."
